So what are we looking for in a pilot? Skills are unimportant. It’s all about attitude. Be a team player. We welcome novice pilots and will help you along on your flight sim journey.  We are looking for mature flyers who enjoy flying together as a group. We try to strike a fine balance between fun arena furballing & realistic mission profiles without taking ourselves too seriously...all while maintaining a historic 'feel'. We emphasize wingman tactics, teamwork, and survival in the arenas - but most of all FUN. We are a older group. Our members ages range from 25 - 60+ years old, many being active/retired Military, Police, and professional pilots. No kids, please. We have very few 'rules', but we ask that you agree to the following:

1. Squad members fly together. Squad members don't fly against each other except during training. Log onto our Teamspeak voice server and find out where everyone is ‘working’. There will be occasions where a flight leader calls for a 'official group sortie' with particular planes & loadouts. You should then Return To Base (rtb) and wait in tower so that we can assemble the flight and fly the group mission as assigned.

2. We use TEAMSPEAK for game voice when in game, which all should use.

3. Can the trash talk. Everyone gets ticked off, but trash talk in the game reflects on the whole group. Keep your frustration 'in house' and just vent on the radio with us.

4. We're a GROUP, and we fly & train as one. There will be regular times where HQ will call for some time training as a group, which everyone should attend if online. Training together helps both the ‘old hands’ and the ‘newbies’. This is what being in a squad is all about. If you don't desire to improve, fly with squad mates, and have no urge to progress beyond your current level of ability then why join a squadron? We are more than just a cool name.

5. The group forum should be visited on at minimum a weekly basis so as to keep abreast of the upcoming squad nights, unit news & events. There are lots of tactics, tips, and fun BS’ing there. Provide us with a valid email address you check regularly.

6. Our squad maintains a both a Teamspeak communications server and a message board that are funded by member donations. Occasionally the hat is passed around for members to chip in. Do what you can, when you can...but don't be a leech either. With 30+ members who can afford PCs and game subscriptions, the amount and frequency of these 'war bond rallies' should be quite small & infrequent. :)
