the 50’s & 60’s (School), 70’s (USAF SSgt [Vietnam] 3yrs of
college), 80’s & 90’s (repairing video & pinball machines),
and plan to continue surviving for a few more decades. WARBIRDS Background: I have played WarBirds since ver: 2.00 (May 1998). Prior to that I, was only offline in ATOP, AOE, and several other off the shelf games, including USAAF (old text file game on a C64/128). After several months of the Training Arena, I joined 333rd Fighter Squadron (=dobs=) in October 1998 WB2 & WB3. I stated as the little ole wingman to dobs, then became the Squadron Operations Officer, and even served a horrible tour as CO {USA} (during the slow segment of the 333rd rebuilding), and was the 333rd FS XO when the entire Squadron disbanded & joined the 475th FG as the 433rd FS. I am also an experienced bomber pilot (as Colonel “oof---“) for the 200KG in the last days of their involvement with WB2. I have posted numerous articles and tips for War Birds players on my web site. {Mostly WB2 information written up during my recovery time from the big one [Heart Attack]. Though there is plenty of material dealing with WB3.}
As byheck (& oof---) I racked up bomber points in the old WB2 arenas to gain the rank of Colonel in the MA. HA, and WWII arenas. As byheck in WB3 I have repeated the feat, becoming the first Colonel in the MA, HA, & WWII arenas.
Philosophy: In anything you do, you should always do it to the best of your ability! If you aren't going to.....why bother? |
